Welcome to the new TESOL Journal. Teaching English to Speakers Of Languages. The TESOL EFL Journal is a unique journal for Language educators that is devoted to discussions on English as an International Language and its growth and development especially as it relates to the global spread of English language teaching and learning. Our global readership will include TESOL & ESOL teachers, linguists, students of language acquisition and others with a professional interest in English second language acquisition. Our goal is to bring information and articles to our readership on advances and research into Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
The Journal is the sister journal to the long established Asian EFL Journal, Linguistics Journal and Asian ESP Journal. We look forward to having you as a regular reader and or contributor.
Submissions for 2010 editions welcome.
TESOL is the acronym for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, or Teaching English to Speakers Of Languages. The later is of recent times being considered culturally preferable and politically correct. TESOL subjects are studied by teachers of English across the globe.
Editors Needed
We are launching this new Second language Acquisition journal with editions planned bi-yearly from late 2009 then bi-yearly. Focus
Our focus is wide and submissions may cover all dimensions of TESOL including teacher training, second language leaning, English as an international language and world English. The new TESOL Journal is not related to the journal of the same name that ceased publishing in 2006. TESOL Journal is a legally registered company in the Philippines with ownership of the domain name
